After completing surgical training in the UK Mike moved to Australia in 1999 where he trained in emergency medicine, toxicology and sports medicine. He currently works at a major Perth tertiary Emergency Department and is a former sports doctor for the Western Force and Wallabies rugby union teams. Mike is a co-author of several textbooks including On Call and Emergency Medicine Diagnosis and Management. He is also Co-founder and chief medical editor of the very popular medical education website Life in the Fast Lane (LITFL).
