Aled trained as a GP in the UK before moving to Australia where he undertook speciality training in Emergency Medicine. During his career he has worked in a range of emergency departments from small regional to tertiary and has undertaken several medical leadership roles as well as undertaking missions for the Red Cross in Africa and Afghanistan. He is currently a clinical lead for WA’s Emergency Telemedicine Service. His interests are around systems in medicine and the interface between virtual and in person health care.
