Are you a skilled Nurse Educator with a passion for diabetes care and a talent for driving clinical innovation?
We are seeking a Credentialed Diabetes Educator (CDE) or Registered Nurse with postgraduate qualifications in diabetes education to support a multidisciplinary team in Central West QLD. This role is focused on improving outcomes for patients with complex diabetes, delivering care in a rural and remote community setting.
About the Role:
Based in Central West QLD, you will provide expert diabetes education, lead practice improvements, and offer professional guidance to clinicians. The role is autonomous and collaborative, working to reduce long-term complications and prevent hospital admissions.
What You Will Need:
- AHPRA registration
- Credentialed with ADEA (or postgraduate in Diabetes Education)
- Rural and remote nursing experience
- Previous QLD Health experience
- Manual driver’s licence
What’s on Offer:
Base rate up to $103.73 per hour + penalties
